DELTATAXI provides services on the basis of these terms, service descriptions and price lists. Deviating terms shall not apply even if DELTATAXI does not expressly object. Changes require DELTATAXI’s express written acknowledgement. A contract is only formed once confirmed by DELTATAXI.
Scope of services
The scope of services is determined exclusively by DELTATAXI’s written booking confirmation or, subsidiarily, its written offer. Information in brochures, catalogues or price lists is binding only where expressly referenced. Transport is subject to Austrian traffic law and the Passenger Transport Act (PBefG). Passengers must follow instructions from DELTATAXI or the chauffeur. If passengers violate instructions or endanger road safety, DELTATAXI may refuse carriage; in that case the full fare including fixed or kilometre price and any extras remains payable.
Airport pickup (airport transfer)
Any change to the agreed pickup time must be communicated to DELTATAXI immediately. Losses due to late notification are borne by the customer. The DELTATAXI chauffeur will be at the terminal meeting point (or another agreed written meeting point) with name sign or company logo at the agreed time and will wait up to 60 minutes without extra charge. A phone number for the passenger to reach the chauffeur is stated in the confirmation. If no contact is made within 60 minutes, the chauffeur may return to Vienna without the passenger. The service is then deemed rendered and the full fare is due. Additional waiting requested by the customer is charged per the applicable price list.
Waiting and no-show (trips TO the airport)
Up to 5 minutes’ waiting is free for both parties. If departure is delayed for reasons attributable to the passenger, each additional started 5-minute block is charged €5.00.
If the passenger is not at the pickup location and cannot be reached by phone, this is treated as a no-show. The driver must wait up to 35 minutes from the agreed pickup time (including the 5 free minutes), then may cancel the trip. In a no-show the full fare per the booking confirmation applies. A driver delay of up to 5 minutes is acceptable and does not give rise to claims.
Prices
Prices include statutory VAT at the applicable rate. Prices valid on the date of booking confirmation apply. Fixed prices not listed in the price list may only be agreed in writing and apply only for the agreed date and hire period; additional time and distance is charged per the price list. Extra costs from delays are borne by the customer unless caused by DELTATAXI or the chauffeur. The fare covers carriage of passengers with normal luggage; bulky goods require separate agreement.
Payment
DELTATAXI may require a deposit of up to 50% before the trip or a pre-authorisation on a valid credit card before accepting an order. Remaining amounts are due by the deadlines on the invoice. In case of default, DELTATAXI may charge interest at 5 percentage points above the base rate (without prejudice to further claims). A €10 reminder fee applies from the second reminder onwards.
Online booking
- Trips before 22:00 on the same day: book at least 4 hours in advance.
- Trips between 22:00 and 06:00: book at least 10 hours in advance.
- Late bookings: we may not be able to guarantee vehicle availability despite automatic online confirmation.
Cancellations
Cancellations are effective only if made in writing or, if oral, confirmed in writing by DELTATAXI. Cancellations up to 24 hours before the agreed start are free. For later cancellations DELTATAXI charges a share of the base fare as compensation:
- 50% if cancelled up to 12 hours before start
- 80% if cancelled up to 3 hours before start
- 100% for later cancellations or failure to take the trip
Customer duties and liability
The customer must promptly notify DELTATAXI of changes to name, billing address, legal form or bank details and must provide accurate passenger, time and place information. The customer undertakes (also on passengers’ behalf) not to abuse DELTATAXI’s services, in particular:
- not to obstruct performance,
- not to cause damage,
- not to violate criminal law,
- to observe the no-smoking rule in vehicles,
- not to refuse payment of the fare.
Liability of DELTATAXI
DELTATAXI is liable for damages only in cases of intent, gross negligence or breach of material contractual duties. Property damage liability is capped at €1,000 per passenger. DELTATAXI is not liable for missed appointments and economic consequences unless caused by DELTATAXI, including delays due to:
- traffic jams or road closures
- vehicle breakdowns or accidents
- severe weather
Applicable law and venue
Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction and performance is Vienna.

Severability
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Invalid clauses are replaced by statutory provisions where applicable.
